On November 2nd, 2004, Congressman David Vitter won the seat of retiring senator John Breaux. Vitter Blog's mission is now complete, and we acknowledge and honor the hard work of all that worked to elect Louisiana's first Republican senator since Reconstruction. With that, we now turn our attention to other blogs, who will be documenting the races in their states.

Already Starting in Minnesota

Election 2006 is still two years away, but it's never too late for some to start their own candidate blogs. Here's a race that's sure to be a top-tier one, Senator Mark Dayton D-Minn versus Rep. Mark Kennedy R-Minn. Kennnedy is a prospective candidate against the senator, who is considered vulnerable. Check out the new blog, and if Mr. Kennedy should throw his hat in the ring sometime in the future, give him your support!

Moving on to other things

Time really has not been kind to me, or I would have been back here sooner. In any event, I hope you liked visiting here and I hope you're as excited (not to mention relieved) as I am about our historic victory here in Louisiana.

As for myself, it is time to move on. I've secured a job at a new conservative website, TheAgendaOnline.com, where I'll be offering my thoughts on what's going on in our country. My writings can be found at theagendaonline.com. I'll be working on other projects as time goes on, and I'll probably drop in for some more updates. But as of now, I'm just eager to take some time and rest.

All the best and Merry Christmas.
